Phase 0 · Discovery
MVP audit, workflows, architecture, backlog and TCO
$1,000 · 1 week
Nothing is built in this phase. We audit the existing prototype, map the workflows, agree the architecture and the open decisions from your Section 21, and hand over the backlog together with the quotation in the Section 19.1 format: price per phase, infrastructure forecast at 1k / 25k / 100k profiles, video and egress costed separately, and an explicit list of deviations. Credited in full against Phase 1.

$80,000 - $100,000
14 - 16 weeks
One EU market, two source countries, the complete swipe-to-paid-offer loop live on web, iOS and Android.
Phase 0 is quoted separately above and credited against Phase 1.

Every worker gets a legal identity record stored separately from the anonymous public profile. Welding processes, positions, materials, certificates and expiry dates are captured as structured fields rather than free text, so filters actually work. Your recruiters review and approve each profile before it can be published.
Workers upload test videos straight to storage without passing through the application server, so a dropped connection resumes instead of restarting. Each video is scanned, transcoded to adaptive resolutions and served through short-lived signed URLs. Every playback carries a watermark identifying the employer and session, which makes leaked footage traceable.
Vertical candidate cards with photo, anonymous ID, trade, country, experience and verified skills. Swipe right to shortlist, left to pass, up for detail, with buttons duplicating every gesture for accessibility. Filters cover welding process, certification, experience, language level, origin country and availability.
An employer submits a structured offer, your team validates it, the worker accepts, and the platform issues the commission invoice. When payment is verified, one transaction reserves the worker and closes every competing offer at the same instant. Two employers paying in the same second produce exactly one placement, never two.
Phone numbers, emails, social handles and addresses are stripped at a single server-side boundary that every screen, API response, export and notification passes through. Chat blocks contact patterns automatically. Any exceptional disclosure requires a privileged action with a reason and leaves a permanent audit record.
Both stores, built to work one-handed on mid-range Android devices and slower mobile networks. Offline drafts, resumable uploads, push notifications for offers, interviews and missing documents, and deep links that open the exact candidate or invoice. Published under your own Apple and Google accounts.
Verification queues for identity, certificates, videos and companies. A CV editor with versioning and approval before anything reaches an employer. Candidate, offer and invoice pipelines, plus role and permission management with mandatory two-factor for staff.
Arabic with complete right-to-left layout, alongside French, Russian, Bengali, Nepali, Hindi, Uzbek and English for workers, and the European set for employers. Menus, validation, errors, emails and notifications are all localised. Legal and payment text uses reviewed human translations, never raw machine output.
A configurable workflow per country covering vacancy declaration, work permit, consulate appointment, visa, ticket, flight and arrival. Checklists by nationality and destination, owners, deadlines and escalation on every step. Workers and employers each see the part of the timeline they are permitted to see.
Scheduled video interviews with timezone handling and reminders, plus chat that shows both the translated text and the original. Contact patterns in messages and images are detected and masked before delivery, and flagged content goes to a moderation queue.
Encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, immutable audit for passport and financial operations, and configurable retention and deletion. Automated scanning through the pipeline, then an independent penetration test before launch with the remediation evidence documented.
App Store and Google Play submission under your accounts, production infrastructure as code with staging, load testing towards 100,000 published profiles and 10,000 employers, plus recorded staff training and a tested backup restore.

What moves the number
How much of the prototype survives
We have not been able to open the prototype yet, the link returns an authorisation error. If its data model is sound we reuse it and Phase 1 shortens. If it is a visual mock-up we keep it as a reference and rebuild. That single answer moves the Phase 1 figure more than anything else on this page.
Video volume and retention
Your document plans for 25 to 30 TB of work-test video. Storage, transcoding, delivery and how long footage is kept are commercial choices with a direct monthly cost, and they change the infrastructure line rather than the build line.
How strict anti-circumvention has to be
Masking text is straightforward. Reading contact details out of photographed notes and interview transcripts is a different scale of work. Where you draw that line is a business decision about how much leakage you are willing to accept, not a technical one.
One architectural note
We would build contact masking as a single server-side boundary in Phase 1, before the chat, the case timeline and the exports exist. Every one of those Phase 2 surfaces is another place a phone number can escape, and retrofitting masking once they are live means auditing every endpoint a second time. Deciding it early costs a few days now and saves a rewrite later.

One question, and we can put real numbers on this
The pilot market decides the language set, the immigration workflow we build first and a meaningful part of the Phase 1 figure. Everything else can wait for the call.
Reply in our chat with your answer and we will come back with the itemised version.
